my euphoric coldplay experience

i went to the coldplay concert yesterday!

it was one of the most unexplainable, amazing experiences i've ever had. i can't really explain it. i woke up this morning thinking about the the bright yellow lights flashing on stage and gigantic yellow balloons being released onto the floor and bleachers when they sang, 'yellow', the 'cell phone wave' that chris martin (lead singer) initiated that lit up the entire floor and bleachers, how coldplay performed part of their concert from the back of the arena (where my bro and i were sitting) so that the people in the back could get a closer look at them, the cover of 'billie jean' they sang as a tribute to michael jackson, and when they sang 'the hardest part' and left us feeling vulnerable and exposed and then feeding that exposure with the excitement of 'viva la vida,' not to mention pulling our heartstrings as they sang the piano version of 'fix you'.

coldplay is not the type of music you'd dance to or listen to to engage in any physical movements, but yesterday, i couldn't help standing up, swaying, jumping up and down and clapping and bobbing my head like a rockstar to the beats of 'viva la vida.'

i seriously felt like i fell in love last night. no kidding. i felt like my mind, body and soul surrendered to their music and in those moments of surrender, their music just hits me in all the right places. and you just felt it. hard. and then you're in this state of euphoria and you realize that nothing can really compare to that moment. ever. WOW..........*pause, inhale-exhale*

i'm listening to their songs right now, and i just get goosebumps all over as i pause for a moment and let the music take me back to the heartfelt moments of last night. i really can't get over what i felt last night. their music makes me feel so whole and enveloped and so complete. nothing will ever compare.

as coldplay bowed before the audience, i screamed wholeheartedly, 'I LOVVVVVVVE YOOOOOOUUUU!' the guy behind me mocked me and yelled in a high pitched voice, 'i love you, coldplay!' LOL.

i feel like i'm on cloud 9 ...
