Post-skydiving, on the way back home from our mini vacation, Maisterbate and I stopped by this little Danish town called Solvang. It's a cute little town with super awesome food, and the buildings look like they jumped out of a fairtytale book. But what makes it extra special is this store called Mystic Merchant. When you walk in, the first thing you'll notice is the smell. It's not bad, but you'll get a headache if you have a weak nose. But when you get past the weird mixture of a hundred different smells, you'll just want to stay there. They sell (I'm guesstimating) about a hundred kinds of stones and charms and some amulet things. Anyway, Maisterbate and I decided to buy The Heart Healer (aka Lover Bringer). It's this little pink stone that's supposed to heal your heart and bring you love (obviously).
I don't think it'll "heal" my "heart" or "bring" me "love." First of all, how do you "heal" something that's not even there. And plus, I wouldn't recognize "love" if it hit me in the face. I don't know what it looks like, so I just wouldn't know even if it was "brought" to me. But I think it's something cool to have just because for only two bucks, it promises one of the most coveted things in the history of the world. I don't own a lot of things that give me any false hopes, so this is cool. I like things that give false hope. :) But meh...it doesn't even look like a heart.
