Astrological Accuracy

i have an aquarius astrological day calendar sitting on the sill of window in my cube. for each of the 365 days of the calendar, there is an astrological reading printed for each day. every morning, after my normal morning routine, i tear off the previous day's calendar page and am hopeful for what my day will bring.

astrological readings are fun to read, but not something to live your life by because let's face it, most of the time, it's not really all that accurate. but i still read mine, nonetheless, because it offers a glimmer of excitement as to what the day may bring...or foreshawdowing of the unthinkable.

on march 13, friday the 13th, my astrological reading for the day read: "it's deja vu all over again. ergo, it should not come as a surprise that a situation (or person) that's been consistent since the year dot isn't any different this time around." i didn't think too much of this reading. after a series of events that day, i knew exactly what the reading was referring to and the reading couldn't be more accurate.

the events of that day was seriously deja vu all over again and yes, the situation with the person has always been consistent and no different this time around.

i kept that day's astrological reading as a reminder of that day. and plus, it's kind of cool that that reading was so darn accurate.

  2. we do. :) it's more empowering to think that way. i think the reading was more of a coincidence.

  3. i have to admit, there are only two reasons why i have a two-year subscription to Glamour: (1) to learn how to dress and (2) read my horoscope!

    but yes, control is AMAZING!
